FIRE-Block

What is FIRE-Block?

FIRE-Block is uniquely engineered mineral formulated to absorb and retard the ignition properties of gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, paint thinners, solvents, and many other flammable and combustible liquids. It is also formulated to absorb and suppress the combustible vapors of volatile liquids rendering the absorbed liquid virtually impossible to reignite even when ignition sources are present.

FIRE-Block is able to absorb up to 5 times its own weight in liquid. Flammable and combustible liquid spills are readily absorbed, and the responder is left with a clumped material that weighs little more than the liquid that was captured. The resulting mass is no longer a hazardous and flammable mixture and should be able to be disposed of in a more cost effective manner.

FIRE-Block should also be used when putting out or preventing car fires at accident sites, decommissioning or working on fuel or oil tanks, or any application that requires the reduction of flammable or combustible fluid characteristics.
